carol, an incredibly talented artist with a pure heart of gold, and i had not seen nor spoken to each other for over 30 years. we got together one day recently and spent the afternoon up to our knees in a pond watching the light play over the water, being… and talking.
carol is someone i hope to create symbolic installations with, such as labyrinths and sacred geometry, in the living space and in nature.
we found that time only brought us more exactly in sync than ever.

john, quite simply, is a beautiful being. we initially connected through our sedona family because of a shared interest in the fine art business and the connection continues to deepen and expand from there. his work/play is as a rare fine art consultant, internet networker, entrepreneur, spiritual student/teacher/journeyer and writer/poet, and he knows exactly what to say to melt a spiritual pluto girl’s heart. currently he’s in production of two books, one titled “Smiles of Anuday” The Love of a Woman, a story of a man and a muse — and due for release this summer ’09:

harriette darling, you raise an excellent point and one i’ll elaborate on in the next post. not many want to take the trip through the past’s boo boo’s (only if we really want off the hamster wheel) and if we do decide to go we want it to be productive, efficient and complete with, well if not exactly fun, at least liberating and exhilarating! it can be like a roller coaster ride, (depending on who you ride with) looks scary, you have your moments of extreme feeling, it’s over before you know it and you’re happy you went.
harriette, affectionately known as the galactic welcome wagon, is, in her hedonistic way, a perfect example of the fun to be had in the illumination and integration of the past for the purpose of tapping the full potential garnered from that action to then harness that surge of power for focused use in the new now. she is a ceremonialist, reverend, life and community consultant/facilitator, hypnotherapist, teacher and barefoot public speaker… a mega force. and i, and many like me, have loved our time creating magic with her around her kitchen table. her books are:

for those of you who do not live in the WDC/NOVA area, jan du plain, a.k.a.,jdp, is the wdc “it” person. she’s works with the likes of the smithsonian, the national theater, national building museum, and the shakespeare theater to name a few. she was also the public relations director for the 3rd largest program producer for public television, WETA. as the city’s public relations big player she not only holds her own but as stated by the mayor of the city, anthony williams, in his proclamation of jan du plain day, 1/1/2007 (one among many honors received), “she moves with confidence and dramatic flair among powerbrokers, celebrities, and ordinary folks embodying the highest standards… to work on common goals that go beyond mere networking skills often resulting in the betterment of all concerned in the Washington DC community…” and she ALWAYS has a smile on her face, i’m honored to know her.

Now this is some kind of writing…filled with beauty, understanding and vibrance, which reflects right back to the author…and from her. I am impressed, and you should be. The beginning of the beginning, of everything, is the nexus. Yes!
